Pianist Queena Chu graduated from the Royal Academy of Music with her Master's Degree with Distinction. She has performed famous concert repertoires, including Rachmaninoff Piano concerto No.1 at the Duke’s Hall and gave recital at the Westminster Music Library in London, St Michael's Church, Sittingbourne. Her recent recordings from the Angela Burgess Recital Hall and Duke’s Hall are now available on YouTube. She studied with solo pianist and chamber musician, Profesor Colin Stone. Queena also has the Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Music and had a few years of teaching experience.
Queena graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts with BMus(Hons) degree in 2020 and studied with pianist Hui Ling. She has been performing both solo and chamber concerts since the age of four, across the globe in venues such as the Boston Walnut Hill School for the Art, Taipei Taiwan, the Hong Kong Cultural Centre, Hong Kong City Hall, and the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, with a wide repertoire ranging from J.S. Bach to Rodion Shchedrin.
She was in the Junior music programme at the HKAPA from the age of six and participated in competitions with awards at a young age. Her most recent success was at the 20th Hong Kong-Asia Piano Open Competition, Open Class, with First Class Award, 5th Prize Winner.
